18. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

18.1 Resolution Process

For any disputes arising from these Terms or our services, the following resolution process must be followed. First, customers must attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting our support team at support@legalbyte.ai. If the issue remains unresolved after initial contact, it will be escalated to company management within 48 hours for further review and resolution attempts. Should management-level discussions fail to resolve the dispute, both parties must engage in good faith mediation before pursuing any legal proceedings. Only after mediation has been attempted and failed may either party proceed with binding arbitration or court litigation.

18.2 Mediation Process

The mediation process shall be conducted with a neutral mediator selected by mutual agreement between the parties, or through a professional mediation service if the parties cannot agree on a mediator. The costs associated with mediation shall be shared equally between both parties. The mediation period shall not exceed 30 days unless both parties mutually consent to an extension. All mediation proceedings shall take place in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

18.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of our services. The Consumer Protection Act and other applicable Indian consumer laws shall take precedence where applicable and may override specific terms in favor of consumer rights. All legal proceedings, mediation, and arbitration shall be conducted in the English language.

19. TERMINATION

Legal Byte reserves the right to terminate user access at any time, with or without prior notice, for violation of these Terms of Use, fraudulent or illegal use of services, non-payment of applicable fees, or any other reason deemed necessary for business operations.

20.1 Amendment Rights

Your continued use of the Platform after Terms modifications constitutes acceptance of new Terms. If you disagree with modifications, discontinue Platform use immediately.

21. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be replaced with valid provisions that most closely reflect the original intent.

22. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and Legal Byte regarding Platform use. No other agreements, representations, or warranties apply unless expressly stated in writing.
